World Environment Day Celebration in School

Nepal Public Health Foundation in coordination with the local NGO Prayas Nepal celebrated  World Environment Day on 5 June 2014. To mark the day NPHF along with the Prayas Nepal organized an awareness program at two lower and secondary level school of  Kathmandu ,ward no. 3. The theme of the program was Raise your Voice Not  the Sea Level / Himal Bachaun Vatavaran Jogaun .70 students from Mahendra Higher Secondary School and 35 students from Panchankya Lower Secondary Level participated in the program. To  motivate students for making an effort to conserve environment ,poem and drawing competition was announced in the aforementioned theme. During the event  saplings were also handed over to the schools for plantation in their premises.
