A discussion meeting on the project “Reducing MMR and NMR in Kapilvastu District” was held at Singha Durbar, attended by several esteemed guests including the Vice Chair of the National Assembly, Hon. Bimala Ghimire, and other notable figures such as Hon. Kamala Devi Pant, Hon. Dr. Anjan Shakya, Hon. Sabitri Malla, Hon. Bhuban Bahadur Sunar, Hon. Bandev Gautam, Dr. R.P. Biccha (Member of the National Planning Commission), Dr. Dipendra Raman Singh, Dr. Bikash Devkota (Additional Health Secretary of MoHP), Dr. Gehanath Baral (Chairman of NHRC), and Dr. Rajesh Pandav (WHO Representative to Nepal). The discussion was initiated by Dr. Mahesh Kumar Maskey, founding chair and executive chief of NPHF. The meeting was highly productive with positive responses.
