Public Health Lecture Series:

NPHF has been organizing public health lecture as its core activity every year inviting eminent persons on 30th June to foster collective action of people around common agendas of public health and it is well attended by public health experts, academia and students.
Since 2010 till date following lecture series has been conducted
i. Inaugural Nepal Public Health Foundation Lecture (2010) on “10+2 agenda for Public Health” by Mr. Kul Chandra Gautam, Advisor of Nepal Public Health Foundation, Former Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF and Assistant Secretary- General of the United Nations, 2010.
ii. 2nd Nepal Public Health Foundation Lecture (2011) on “Understanding Public Health: Conceptual and Philosophical Foundations” by Prof. Dr. Mathura Prasad Shrestha, Advisor of Nepal Public Health Foundation, former Minister for Health and also a former Chairman of Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC).
iii. 3rd Nepal Public Health Foundation Lecture (2012) on “Control of NCDs: Scientific, Social and Spiritual perspective” by Dr. Mrigendra Raj Pandey, Former Executive Chair of NHRC and also a Former Chair SAARC cardiac Soceity, renowned Cardiologist.
iv. 4th Nepal Public Health Foundation Lecture (2013) on “Public Health Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” by Dr. Hemang Dixit, renowned pediatrician and academician,Former Dean IOM and also a Former President Nepal Pediatric Soceity.
v. 5th Nepal Public Health Foundation Lecture (2014) on “Changing Public Health Paradigm: Improving Maternal Child Health and Family planning” by Dr. Rita Thapa, advisor of NPHF.
vi. 6th Nepal Public Health Foundation Lecture (2015) on “Unveiling the Debate of Euthanasia” by Dr. B D Chataut, founding member of NPHF.
vii. 7th Nepal Public Health Foundation Lecture (2016) on “From a Reluctant Researcher to Public Health Advocacy: My Life and Times” by Dr. Buddha Basnyat, eminent clinician, public health research scientist and Vice President of NPHF.
